Sarunya Sensupa is a professional trainer and consultant in matters concerning pitching and business expansions as well as the Chief Commercial Officer and co-founder of Durian Corporation. Her mission is to facilitate transformations of small businesses into large and successful businesses through fundraising from start to finish in the ASEAN region. Sarunya’s contagious passion and willingness to share has led to successful developments in businesses across many sectors and across ASEAN. Currently, she has contributed invaluably to the success of Durian as a company with a valuation of more than 300 million Thai Baht in the span of only 3 short years.

Prior to her work, Sarunya honed her sales and business expansion skills over the course of a 16-year career in large multinational companies. Such companies include F.E. Zuellig, Ansell Inc., and Allianz where she has always been consistently recognized and awarded for her dedication and superior domain knowledge in addition to being recognized as the top sales agent. Her contributions to such companies have allowed them to occupy the largest market shares in their respective sectors, a development which is certainly due to her tireless efforts and impressive track record.

Following her success, she has founded several projects and initiatives with like-minded individuals who recognize the importance of startups, SMEs, and transformations in existing businesses both domestically and abroad. She has spearheaded projects which seek to enrich the startup ecosystem with large multinational companies, such as Allianz Ayudhya Assurance Plc. In addition, she has also been actively engaged in fundraising in her role as a trust manager for SME Bank, where she is responsible for curation of businesses eligible for investment opportunities.

Given her prominence in many sectors, she has also played key roles in several public capacities. These include creation and adoption of business standards employed in initiating an IPO with the Stock Exchange of Thailand, as well as standards to be adopted in expanding businesses beyond domestic borders.

She holds a B.Sc. in Biology from Chiang Mai University, an MBA from Assumption University, and a PhD from Universal Ministries of the King’s College.
